Hello Friend, Welcome!
I’m Donna Ammons, founder of A Brush with Jesus Art Ministry: a mixed-media artist, atmosphere changer, encourager, and teacher at heart. I create from the Emerald Coast of Florida, home of the most beautiful bayous and beaches in the world!
My mission is to help women and young girls invite and encounter the presence of Jesus through creative expression and worship.
You’ll find me traveling the eastern seaboard and beyond, speaking and painting at women’s conferences, retreats, and church gatherings, and hosting classes right here at home.

My prayer is that everyone who experiences my art and teaching walks away having had their own Brush with Jesus.
Come Gather. Pray. Praise. Paint.
Every event is a worship arts experience: part prayer, part praise, part painting, and all fellowship. No art experience needed, just a willing heart. Each one is custom-curated with you to fit your theme, your group, and the message God has placed on your heart.

My Heart
Creating is my calling. But watching women and young girls encounter God’s presence through the creative process? That’s my greatest joy.

I can be found traveling, speaking and creating art in and around women’s ministry events such as conferences, retreats and church-wide break-out sessions along the eastern seaboard!
Sharing the goodness of God through hosting and booking art classes, workshops and art retreats is my present assignment. At A Brush with Jesus Art Ministry we facilitate all-inclusive ART RETREAT GETAWAYS that house the presence of God including worship, testimony, creativity and fellowship-as well as for PRIVATE BOOKINGS.

Wherever God leads me, I share testimony and artistic tips with women and young girls as they are encouraged to express their artistic freedom through creating Prayer Art Journals, Blessing Blocks and Mixed Media Canvas with a Message! Operating in this creative gifting is my true calling; witnessing young girls and women encounter God’s presence through this process is my complete passion.
