Hello & Welcome!
I am Donna Ammons, founder and owner of A Brush with Jesus Art Ministry! I am an atmosphere changer, encourager and teacher by nature! My mission is to help women and young girls learn how to invite and encounter the presence of Jesus through artistic expression and worship. My deepest hope and desire is that each person that interacts with my original art and teaching will have A Brush with Jesus!
I am a mixed-media artist working on the Emerald Coast of Florida, home of the world’s most beautiful bayous and beaches!
I’ve been called to operate in the SEND and the STAY through Creating and Sharing off-site, locally AND ONLINE. I can be found traveling, speaking and creating art in and around women’s ministry events such as conferences, retreats and church-wide break-out sessions along the eastern seaboard!
Sharing the goodness of God through hosting and booking art classes, workshops and art retreats is my present assignment. At A Brush with Jesus Art Ministry we host all-inclusive ART RETREAT GETAWAYS that house the presence of God including guest speakers, worship, testimony, creativity and fellowship-as well as for PRIVATE BOOKINGS.
Ladies Ministry, Women’s Groups, Churches and Faith Based Institutions and the like, are just a few entities that often book A Brush with Jesus Art Ministry services that include but are not limited to keynote speaking (sharing a word in due season, testimony time and prayer) and creative expression by sharing prophetic art and implementing art instruction. Break-Out Sessions- are a NEW AND EXCITING way to add to your already well established retreat -this offers a fresh and memorable NEW activity that is easily incorporated as the main ACTIVITY for attendees after keynote sessions or offered as an option for attendees during “free time”.
Finally, teaching in the ONLINE SPACE and private ONLINE ART COMMUNITY through monthly memberships, challenges, courses AND more are just another tool used to encourage, create and intentionally share the Good News while building God’s kingdom!
Wherever God leads me, I share testimony and artistic tips with women and young girls as they are encouraged to express their artistic freedom through creating Prayer Art Journals, Blessing Blocks and Mixed Media Canvas with a Message! Operating in this creative gifting is my true calling; witnessing young girls and women encounter God’s presence through this process is my complete passion.
